Fisher Elementary Library Mission Statement

The mission of the Fisher Elementary Library is to inspire students, families, and staff to become information seekers. We hope to enable students to achieve their potential by providing opportunities to read for information and pleasure and engage in inquiry based research utilizing online resources.

Our Kindergarten, First and Second grade students all check out one book weekly with their class. Third, Fourth and Fifth grade students visit every other week with their class. All students are allowed to visit with a pass from their teacher whenever they need a new book!

Fisher Elementary wants to invite every Fisher parent to visit the Library and check out library books. Parents are able to check out five books a day on their name. We ask that parents make their selections and check out once each day.

Our collection has 14,000 brand new books. There is so much enthusiasm about having brand new books! We have a special collection of books in Spanish or bilingual books that are in both English and Spanish. We have nine computers available for student use.

Book Care and Responsibility
Students are asked to keep our brand new books clean and dry. Eating and drinking are discouraged around library books. If a library book is damaged or lost, a student will need to pay the cost of the book so we can replace it.
