Rock 'n Roll Marathon
NISD will once again have a Team in the Nov. 11th San Antonio Rock 'n Roll Marathon, thanks to a grant from Northside Education Foundation. For fitness' sake, Dr. Woods' goal is to have the biggest team in our category. Last year we won the Largest Team in our Category!! We had 291 people on our Team. Do you think we can get 500 people this year? NISD Marathon Team members get $10 off registration, a free shirt and free ride to and from the race. The Deadline is November 4th unless the race sells out before then.
To register, go to http://runrocknroll.competitor.com/san-antonio/register and click on "Register."
For the Full or Half Marathon:
Select "Join an existing Team," next select "NISD" from the Drop Down Menu, (When you select "join a team" during race registration your $10 discount is automatically applied, no other coupon is needed.) then answer the questions and follow the prompts to finish registering.
For the Bike Tour or 2-person Relay Team:
Select 'Bike Tour' or 'Create a 2-person Relay Team' then answer the questions and follow the prompts to finish registering.
**You do not have to be a NISD employee to join the NISD Marathon Team.
**After you register send an email to Theresa.Leibold@nisd.net. Include your name, shirt size, cell phone number, and which race you registered for (Full, Half, Bike, or 2-person.) NEF does not receive this information and won't know you are on the Team unless you tell us.
**If you have already registered for the Rock N Roll Marathon and would like to Join the NISD Team, please send me the above information as well as your date of birth and the email address used to register. We will get you transferred on to the NISD Team.
