Hello Kay Franklin Elementary Families & Friends,
My name is Juan D. Perez (JD) and I am excited to begin my administration career at Kay Franklin Elementary. I was able to help open Kay Franklin Elementary back in 2013. Prior to becoming an administrator, I was a Math Staff Development Teacher and 4th/5th grade teacher.
I graduated from Southwestern Assemblies of God University with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. I then obtained my Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Texas A&M – San Antonio. I have been an educator for the past 12 years, 10 of those being with Northside ISD. My first year of teaching was with Midlothian ISD.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling, the outdoors, exercising, spending time with my family, dog, and friends, and watching/attending sporting events. I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to help lead Franklin alongside Mrs. Gallardo, staff, and community.
Start Strong, Stay Strong, Finish Strong!
