National Children’s Book Week

November 12 - 16, 2007

Schools, libraries, book stores and families have celebrated Children’s Book Week since 1919.  It is an opportunity to focus on the outstanding contribution that author’s and illustrators have made to children’s literature.  The theme for the 88^th annual event is "Rise Up Reading."
