Introduction 

You are on the playground and you find a really neat rock that has an impression in it.  Do you throw it at your friend or do you keep it and examine it closely?  Today you will learn more about rocks that have impressions.  They are called fossils.

Activities

Today you will work with a fourth grade buddy to explore fossils.  You will visit many sites and learn about fossils.  You and your buddy will answer some questions about fossils.  Your buddy will help you read and record your answers.  You will also get to look at some really neat pictures of fossils. Listen to your buddy very carefully!
