"The diversity of the members of the Northside Board is our greatest strength. We represent our minority populations and both genders. Combined this Board has experience in finance, teaching, parental involvement and community service. We have differing educational philosophies, but this is a strength since our discussions are open and thorough. We try to make sure our decisions are based on our stated objectives, are fiscally responsible and, most importantly, meet the needs of our students. The future of this country is our children. It is our duty to provide them a quality education with which they can accomplish their goals, while becoming contributing members of our society."
