Randall H. Fields was appointed the Northside Board of Trustees in 1999 and was first elected to a full term in 2001. A previous Board President, he currently serves as Chairman of the Policy and Intergovernmental Relations Committee and also is a member of the Finance Committee. In addition, he has served as a member of the NISD Long Range Planning Task Force and was the founding President of the Northside Education Foundation.
Fields served for nine years on the Board of Regents of the Baylor University System, where he was Chairman for two years and Vice Chairman for one year. He also served as President of the Baylor Alumni Association.
Fields received his bachelor's, master's, and law degrees from Baylor University and is a licensed financial consultant at Broadway Brokerage Services. He and his wife, Nancy, have three children, all graduates of Clark High School. Rebecca is a graduate student at Oxford University; Travis has just graduated from Texas A&M University, College Station; and Elizabeth is a junior at Texas A&M University, College Station. The Fields have been active members of Trinity Baptist Church for more than 25 years, and have served with the PTA, Boy Scouts and other youth related organizations.
