mini meteorIce Cream Comets
T
his is not an accurate model of a comet, it is fun and an delicious way to remember the concept that a comet is made of ice and rock.
Comets are essentially dirty snowballs, but lets build an ice-cream ball with our own eatable dirt.
Step 1
Items needed
1. Vanilla or Cookies & Cream ice cream
2. Plastic bags
3. Wax paper
4. Vanilla Wafers
5. Chocolate wafers
6. Kids Hammers/rolling pins
7. Spoons
8. Paper plates
I'm hungry already!

Optional items:
1. M&M's or other small candy~
    9 candies per child
2.Orange chewy peach rings

Step 2
Here's the dirt!
Put your wafers inside the plastic bag, push out the air, and seal the top. Roll it with the hammer to crush and this will be your dirt.

Step 3

Here's the comet!
Poor you dirt onto the wax paper and then roll a scoop of ice
cream in it until it is completely covered with cookie crumbs.

Step 4

Eat your comet!!!!!
Remove from the wax paper and put on your paper plate. Optional items: add the 9 candies as the 9 planets and the orange chewy peach ring as the sun. Enjoy!
