The primary purpose of NISD'S Family Involvement Program is to build communication with parents, school staff, and community in order to assist at risk students who are experiencing barriers to success and to build Parent Capacity to participate effectively in school activities. The program is designed to assist in the development and planning of parental involvement activities and to implement a program of Parent Workshops.
