Summary Schedule

Procedure for Guided Pleasure-Reading Enrichment Rotations:

1. Leave "old" books on semi-circular table.
2. Go to team tables as assigned by your teacher
3. Participate in Five-Minute Enrichment Energizers
4. Choose one book from among pre-selected books, according to Librarian's instructions.
5. With librarian present, scan in your old book then scan out your new book.
6. Students are responsible for caring for books and returning them on time.

Students take one book, which is renewable or exchangeable during Open Checkout.
Students with no overdue books may also check out a second book during Open Checkout

 

Procedure for Open Checkout

Open Checkout Hours - M-T-W-Th

1. Leave backpacks on chairs
2. Slide bead on abacus and get shelf marker
3. Follow Browsing and iBistro rules
4. With librarian present, scan in your old book then scan out your new book.
5. Students are responsible for caring for books and returning them on time
7:15-7:40 - Open Checkout and Database Lessons
8:40 - 10:00 - Whole-Group and Small Group Research sessions and Open Checkout (one additional book*)
1:00 - 2:30 -Whole-Group and Small Group Research sessions And Open checkout (one additional book*) 8-9
