The NISD Grants and Recognitions Department offers training in grant writing, grant planning, and how to successfully manage grant programs. The following training sessions are available for NISD staff.

1.) NEF WRITING WORKSHOPS:

Are you preparing an application for a Northside Education Foundation grant? The Grants and Recognitions Department will assist you with all portions of your application: goals, objectives, budget, evaluation, and editing. Bring your ideas, drafts and notes to this session and we will help you put your application together. Please register online in the ERO System.

2.) TEAM GRANT ORIENTATION SESSIONS:

The Grants & Recognitions Department will provide three (4) Team Grant Orientation Workshops. All Team Captains MUST attend one of the three TEAM Grant Orientation Workshops to be eligible to apply for these funds. Additional team members are strongly encouraged to attend. Please Note: Applications submitted by teams whose captain (listed on the grant application) did not attend a workshop will not be considered for review.

Applicants should register for workshops through EROS. For workshop dates and registration information, please refer to the application Timeline section above, and/ or contact the Grants and Recognitions Department staff at (210) 397-8562.
