DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Work as an integral part of the Campus Technology Team (Campus Applications Technologist, Campus Instructional Technologist, and Student Technology Assistant on Campus) in advancing the effective use of technology in education.
  2. Using a joint communiqué, inform all campus staff on a regular basis of the Technology Team’s training initiatives, including staff development opportunities provided by the CAT and staff development opportunities provided by the CIT.
  3. Deliver applications and technology literacy skills training and development to teachers.
  4. Deliver integration training and development to teachers.
  5. Model teaching strategies in classrooms and computer labs with teachers and students which integrate technology and content objectives.
  6. Work with students on various technology projects (multimedia, web, video, graphic design, desktop publishing, etc.).
  7. Serve as campus webmaster in development and maintenance of the campus website so that it will serve as an effective communications and instructional vehicle for parents, students, teachers, administrators, and the larger community.
  8. Provide staff development for teachers in developing web content to support communication and instruction.
  9. Oversee and help implement the delivery of instruction to teachers and students on Acceptable Use Guidelines.
  10. Initiate Technology Proposals needed to support campus technology initiatives.
  11. Coordinate between campus staff and district departments on special technology initiatives (bond, grants, special survey requests, etc.) as related to instruction.
