Hello, my name is Susan Dullnig and I am the GT/Enrichment Program Specialist at Helotes Elementary.  I received  my education from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a BA in Elementary Education including a Math Specialization and a Kindergarten  Endorsement.  This school year begins my 25th year of teaching and my 17th year in the GT program all in Northside ISD.  Other areas that I've taught include high school math, 5th grade, and 3rd grade. I also have attained well over 400 hours of G/T inservice and training. An interesting fact about me is that I was a Bulldog many years ago when I attended Helotes Elementary from 2nd grade through 6th grade, as well as, Pat Neff Middle School and John Marshall High School. Go Rams!!! All I can say is that it's great to be home again!!!           My passion is working with Gifted and Talented students. Every day is exciting and brings new thinking and enthusiasm for learning. It is rewarding to work with students who are motivated to excel.  It is amazing to watch the "wheels turn" as my students work through problems. It is never a "dull day" in my classroom!!
