Parents Visiting Campus

-Parents are encouraged to visit campus. All parents must register in the office and receive a name tag before entering the building.

-If parents would like to visit a classroom we encourage an appointment be made with the teacher so instruction will not be interrupted.

-During lunch parents may eat with their child alone at the parent table (K-4) or students may invite one friend to eat with them at the parent table. We ask parents not to sit with the class during lunch.

Spirit Day

-Every Friday at Helotes Elementary students wear school shirts or school colors, blue and yellow. Classes with 100% spirit earn a bone for their spirit bone posted outside their classroom.
Cafeteria

-All students are encouraged to purchase a lunch ticket. Lunch costs $1.50.

-When a child has one day left on their ticket, a red stamp will be placed on the student’s hand reminding him/her to bring money. When a child is out of money a note is given to the child through the classroom teacher to go home in the Wednesday folder as a reminder lunch/breakfast money is needed.
