The Texas Bluebonnet Award is given yearly. The winning
book is determined by student votes. Students who have read all of
the twenty nominated books vote for their favorite book. The book
with the most votes wins! Students at Helotes Elementary who read
all twenty books also get a special treat. They receive a Bluebonnet
Books T-shirt at a special end of the year pizza party.
