| Hi, I am the CIT (Campus Instructional Technologist)
for Helotes Elementary School. My job is to help teachers integrate technology
into their curriculum. I also plan and implement staff development for technology
on the campus, troubleshoot computer problems and help students and teachers with
research projects and assignments. I have been with Northside for twenty-one years. Before I became a CIT, I was a Speech/Language Pathologist and I was also the Technology Facilitator for Helotes. I have been a CIT for the last seven years. I was born in a suburb of Chicago and have lived in Texas since high school. I received my bachelor's degree from Baylor University and my master's from the University of Houston. I am married to a wonderful man and have two super children. Amy is a sophomore at Texas Tech University studying Excercise Science and Tim is a freshman at Sam Houston State University majoring in Professional Golf Management. When I am not at school, most of my free time is spent reading and doing knitting and cross stitch projects. |
