4th Grade Grading Policy
1. 4th grade standards will be graded.
2. Grades will be given after the standard has been taught and practiced for an appropriate time and mastery is expected. Reteach will be given if necessary.
3. Parents will know what standard matches what grade by information printed in the newsletter, progress report, and/or as needed on individual papers.
4. Children will know if the grade will "COUNT" by color coding, stamps, or circles.
5. Promotion standards will be treated the same. Students will know which grade was counted by color coding, stamp, or circle. Also an information sheet will be sent home informing the parents of the particular promotion test taken and grade achieved.
