E-Mail is the sending and receiving of messages electronically over the Internet. It's like sending a letter over the phone lines. E-Mail is the simplest and most widely used Internet tool.

NOTE: Providers such as Hotmail, MSN, Yahoo and any other e-mail providers are NOT acceptable on District computers.

Below are the acceptable uses for e-mail at school:

Teachers may e-mail assignments to students.
Students may e-mail completed assignments to teachers.
Students may send e-mail messages to other students as assigned by their classroom teacher.
Students may send e-mail questions to experts at an "Ask an Expert" Web site.
