The Hoffmann Student Council organized a dog food drive to help SA-K9's during the month of May. SA-K9's is a local organization that provides care, boarding and training for dogs that provide support to wounded warriors and civilians. Members from SA-K9's came to visit students and their families during the Bring a Soldier to Breakfast event at the end of April. Initially, a goal was set to collect 1000 pounds of dog food. Students exceeded that goal by collecting over 6000 pounds!!
Congratulations to the Solar Car Teams who were sponsored by Coach Ware and Mrs. Ewenson! They competed on Saturday, May 4th, against 224 teams. [read more...]

“Starry, Starry Night” was a great success! The teachers provided activities such as egg drops, planetariums, constellation boxes, solar system hats, and iPod stations. Because of the cold and cloudy night, we were not able to use the telescopes, but our families who came enjoyed a fun, educational night. Thanks to everyone who came and participated.
