The Inaugural Hoffmann Chess Tournament is open to all 1-5th Graders on May 16th at 11:00am. Play in a real Chess Tournament, guaranteed 3 games and medals for those that win 2 games!

Hoffmann Kinder roundup will be April 8th from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Drop-in registration will occur between 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Kindergarten teachers will be available to provide information, conduct short tours of classrooms, and answer questions from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Hoffmann ES is joining in on the largest learning event in history: The Hour of Code, during Computer Science Education Week (Dec. 8-14). Last year, 15 million students tried computer science in one week. This year, we're joining students worldwide to reach 100 million students!

Celebrate with our Community on November 10th. For the second year we will be honoring our community veterans during a combined ceremony with Briscoe Middle School. The event will begin at 8:45am on the Briscoe football field. After the event, guest speakers will be visiting classrooms and sharing their various experiences in the Armed Forces. If you will be attending the ceremony, please join us at Briscoe. Our staff will utilize the back of the school for parking that day which will leave ample room for visitors in the side lot.

National Red Ribbon Week honors the 26th anniversary of the ultimate sacrifice made by U.S. Drug Enforcement Special Agent Enrique "Kiki" Camarena. In 1988, Congress officially proclaimed the last week of October as Red Ribbon Week in honor of this brave American's life. He made a difference by helping to fight illegal drugs.
