Special Events hosted by the Automotive Technology classes include their annual BBQ and a multitude of seminars. Their annual BBQ is hosted at the end of the year for all the Automotive Technology students. The seminars are a new addition offered by Mr. Hoyack that cover basic vehicle maintenance. At Holmes High School, Mr. Hoyack occasionally participates in seminars for the Young Women's Organization (YMO). Hoyack gave the ladies small vehicle maintenance tips during the seminar such as how to change a flat tire.
