
Student Guidelines 2008-2009
- Dresses, skirts, and slacks are considered appropriate school attire. However, clothes of any length that are suggestive, indecent, or which cause a distraction will not be permitted. Capri pants should be
at least 4 inches below the knee. Cut offs are not allowed. Skirt length should be no more than 4
inches above the knee.
- Shorts, baggy or oversized pants and tight fitting pants (i.e. tights, bicycle pants) are not allowed. All pants are to be worn at the waist. Appropriate footwear must be worn. Steel-toed footwear is specifically prohibited.
- See-through garments are not appropriate.
- Tank tops, halter-tops, spaghetti straps, exposed backs or midriffs are not allowed.
- Indecent / inappropriate patches, writings, or drawings on clothing will not be permitted.
- Body piercing jewelry is prohibited except for rings, studs or other traditional jewelry worn in the
ear. Tongue and lip rings and tongue and chin studs, are not permitted.
- Hair must be a natural color. No outrageous hairstyles or colors will be allowed.
- Headgear must not be worn in the buildings and it is not recommended for school.
Final determination of acceptable dress and grooming rests with the principal and his/her designee.
