Introduction

The following links come from all over the World Wide Web and represent a variety of aspects related to the The Cold War. You may complete the following Internet activities alone or by working in a group. You may complete all or only some of the activities depending on your goals for the study of The Cold War. Also, feel free to use the HyperText Dictionary whenever you need to.

Conclusion

The period we refer to as “The Cold War” lasted over 40 years.  It shaped the way at least one generation thought and thinks about the world.  To some, it was an insecure time.  To others, it was viewed as a “life is short, live hard” period.  Others believed that in whatever time was left to humankind, efforts to make things better was the appropriate way to live.  Based on what you know…what would your choices be and why?
