ANY text copied and pasted from the Internet should be rewritten in your own words AND cited appropriately. From a copyrighted source, Fair Use states only one Image can be used in a school setting if the source is cited. Portions of Music/Video copied from the Internet can be used in a school setting if the source is cited. However, Fair Use states music or video is limited to thirty seconds.

Any other use of text, images, music/video is prohibited unless permission is granted by the owner. Unlimited use of sites marked free is acceptable but the source should still be cited.

General Structure for citing Internet sources:
Author. Title of item [Online] Available http://address, date of document or download.

Example--Northside Logo you saved would be cited as:
NISD Home-Netscape [Online] Available http://www.nisd.net, current date.
