Mrs. Gould

It gives me great joy to be a counselor at Howsman Elementary for a fourth year. This year, I have the pleasure of working with students from Kinder, First and Third Grades. This will be my 26th year as an educator with 7 years as a teacher and 19 years as a school counselor.

I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, Bilingual Education, and Spanish from Our Lady of the Lake University. I received my Master's Degree in ESL and Bilingual Education and my Texas Certification in Guidance & Counseling from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

It was through the inspiration of my mother, who first told me that I would make a wonderful counselor with the ways she saw me advise my friends and deal with various situations. It is my privilege to serve students and their families as an opportunity to make a difference in their lives. My goal each year is to assist my students to believe in themselves and reach their ultimate potential.
I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, working with the Juvenile Diabetic Support Group and being active in my church. It gives me great joy once again to be of service to the Howsman Family and Community.
