Meet the
Librarian's Assistant

Welcome to the Library!

My name is Mrs. Park, and I am new to Howsman this year.  I am a San Antonio native and attended Northside schools.  I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Austin and received my Master’s in Library and Information Science from the University of North Texas this past summer.  I taught Language Arts in Northside for six years before becoming a librarian.

I have been married for four years.  My husband and I have a dog named Frodo and a cat named Fritz who keep us entertained.  I enjoy reading, traveling, and playing the piano when I get the chance.  I am loving my first year as a librarian, and I’m especially enjoying being at Howsman!
