What:
Science Projects
(May be typed or hand written)

Who:
Any 3rd or 4th grader who voluntarily wants to participate
All 5th graders must participate and will work on this at school and home

When:
May 4-May 26, 2009
Projects are due May 26, 2009

Where:
Scheduled walk-throughs in the library or cafeteria the week of May 26-29, 2009

Why:
Encourage science research for those who can, are willing, and able!
Extra Credit for Science in 3rd and 4th
Required Science assignment in 5th grade
Participation Ribbons
Scored Rubric as feedback

Timeline

Due Date	Copy of Required Information to be turned into Mrs. Rollins for a grade
Thursday, May 7	Materials List List of Procedures
Wednesday, May 13	Purpose Statement Hypothesis
Friday, May 15	Data Tables and Graphs no matter how far into project (I just want to see them and modify if necessary)
Monday, May 18	Bibliography Due
Wednesday, May 20	Results and Conclusions
Thursday, May 22	Application
Tuesday, May 26	Entire Projects are due in the library. No late projects accepted.
