Lightning can follow pipes into your home, so stay out of the shower or bathtub.

Stay away from tall objects like trees and poles.

Also avoid large metal objects. Lightning loves these objects.

Swimming and any kind of boating is also out of the question during a storm. Stay away from water during an electrical storm.
