College Preparation

Students are given the opportunity to get involved in school activities and community service projects. Colleges are looking for well-rounded students; those with a great GPA, great test scores, community service and involvement. The AVID student is given all the information and available access to make him or her a well-rounded student. College visits are scheduled throughout the year and summer programs are encouraged.
