I grew up here in San Antonio and graduated from Churchill High School. I received my Bachelors degree in Psychology from Texas Christian University in 1990 and I graduated from St. Mary’s University in 1992 with a Masters degree in Counseling. In 1994, I became a Licensed Professional Counselor.

I worked in both the Harlandale and San Antonio School Districts before working in Northside as a counselor with Horizons Program in 2000. My position this year is as the Safe & Drug Free Schools & Communities (SDFSC) Prevention Counselor for the John Jay Community – which includes 10 elementary schools, 3 middle schools and John Jay High School. I am looking forward to an exciting year working with the students, staff and families in this area.

My husband and I have two daughters, ages 1 and 4. They keep us busy and entertained!
