SET TRANSPARENT COLOR TOOL

CROPPING TOOL

1. The SET TRANSPARENT COLOR icon is located on the picture toolbar and is usually located on the bottom of the screen (sometimes on the side). It only works for one color per image. Activate the desired image by clicking ONCE on the selected picture. Notice the handles appear around the edges. See picture on right.

2. To remove the unsightly white background from around the image, click on the SET TRANSPARENT COLOR icon. The cursor (pointer) will change appearance.

3. Move the cursor pointer over the white (or other designated color) and click. That color should disappear.

4. The CROPPING TOOL is ideal for cleaning up edges and reducing the size of the image without distortion.

5. The CROPPING TOOL is located on the picture toolbar and is activated by clicking on the image you want to crop.

6. Click on the CROPPING TOOL icon, notice that the cursor pointer changes appearance.

7. Move the cursor over any one of the eight CROPPING HANDLES and CLICK/DRAG inward to reduce the size.

8. Make the image as small as possible without distorting or removing any of the desired picture.

9. The ROTATING HANDLE is a small green dot usually located adjacent to one of the re-sizing handles. The RED ARROW on the right is pointing to the ROTATING HANDLE.

10. The cursor pointer will change when you place it over the ROTATING HANDLE. When the change occures, click and drag the cursor to the left or right to rotate the image.

11. Now that you are working with multiple images, it is sometimes necessary to change the layer or stacking ORDER.

12. Work with one image at a time. Select the one you want to move forward or backward by CLICKING on the desired image. Notice the handles surrounding the activated image.

13. From the DRAWING toolbar (usually located on the bottom), click on DRAW > Order and then the desired movment.
