The GT Campus Specialist works with students who are designated as gifted and talented by the district. If you have questions about GT testing, contact Ms. Asbell.

Ms. Asbell operates the Enrichment Center for all students to use as a resource on campus. With the other high school GT teachers in the district, Ms. Asbell plans educational seminars for high school students. The classes that Ms. Asbell teach include:

ISM, Independent Study Mentorship

An enrichment class for responsible juniors and seniors.
Students choose a topic of study, commit to a year-long research process, develop an innovative product, work with a professional mentor in the community, and present their research and learning at the end of the year during a presentation for an invited audience.

Mind Journeys

An enrichment class for freshmen and sophomore students who are eager to learn, develop leadership skills, and complete independent research.

Communication Applications

A public speaking course offered to juniors and seniors. This course is required for graduation.
