• Increase your knowledge of Latin grammar, Roman culture and history
PR: 70 in level 1 plus teacher approval
Latin III
• Latin poetry and prose will be integrated with related topics of culture and civilization
• Reading and writing will be emphasized
PR: 75 in level 2 plus teacher approval
French I
• Introduction to the people, their customs, and other aspects of their culture
• Develop speaking and comprehension skills
• Role-play real-life situations using the language!

French II

• Perform dialogues/skits on various every day situations
• Expand speaking and listening comprehension skills
• Continue to study the culture, people, and their customs
• Develop writing and reading comprehension skills

French III Honors

• Concentrated cultural studies about the people through individual and group projects
• Study literary work
• Continue to work towards proficiency in speaking and listening comprehension
• Incorporate the development of reading comprehension and writing skills

Spanish I

Spanish for Spanish Speakers - Level I
• Engage in real-life situations using and enriched curriculum
• Exposing them to their Hispanic Culture, Customs, Heritage, and History
• Designed for students who can understand Spanish, but cannot speak it for speak it very little
PR: Language survey, and evaluation as needed or Oral Proficiency interview
Spanish for Spanish Speakers - Level II
• Understand and speak some Spanish at this basic level
• Speaking, understanding, reading and writing through an enriched curriculum
• Expand their knowledge of Spanish using special materials designed for Spanish Speakers
PR: 70 in Spanish Speakers level 1 plus teacher approval or 70 on the credit by exam plus teacher approval. Survey and evaluation as needed or Oral Proficiency interview
Spanish for Spanish Speakers - Level III

• Read on a variety of cultural topics relating to the Hispanic world
• Study the current events and history of the Hispanic world
• Gain knowledge of prominent Hispanics
• Continue to develop their skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing
