Language Translator

The International Language Department at John Jay offers students the opportunity for studying a foreign language. Two years of a foreign language is a prerequisite for college and high school graduation. Students are encouraged to continue their study in a foreign language for 4 or five years. Currently John Jay offers French levels 1-3, Latin levels 1-3, and Spanish levels 1-5. Spanish is offered through diverse curriculum to native speakers and non-native speakers. The department also offers honors and advanced placement courses.
