NYPL's Online Database of 275,000 Images New York Public Library just released a free, online, searchable database of 275,000 photographs and manuscripts called the
NYPL Digital Gallery. The site took
over five years to develop and was sponsored through a grant of seven million dollars from Atlantic Philanthropies.
