Welcome to the John Jay Special Education Department

The John Jay Special Education Department provides a continuum of services designed to meet the educational needs of students who have been identified as having a broad range of disabilities. These services include:

• Instruction in a local curriculum
• Structured programming for students with emotional/behavioral concerns
• Supporting students in the state mandated curriculum
• Instruction in a life skills curriculum

The staff works as a team to provide educational programming that embraces individual differences and maximizes each student's potential.
