WJEN is John Jay's first daily, live news broadcast team. Run solely by John Jay students, the class is open to freshman through seniors. All production, filming, editing, producing and writing, along with live show taping, are completely student-produced.

We bring the daily news to the students, faculty and staff of the school. We run a news show featuring the two pledges, moment of silence, announcements from clubs, organizations and administrators, along with the "S-A-T Word of the Week." We also spotlight various clubs and organizations around campus.

Enrollment is on a first-come, first-serve basis, capping at 24.

The show is year -long. Enrollment is not automatic; as students must enroll again through the counseling office if they are interested in being on the roster again for the next academic year.

WJEN is located in the John Jay library in room H115.
