The district has approved standardized dress for ALL students enrolled in Anson Jones Middle School. To better understand the rationale for wearing uniforms, please click here. The student's clothing must fit properly and may not exceed one (1) size beyond the correct size and may not be modified in any way (ie.: slits in the bottom of the pants or torn hems.) This includes bagging or sagging. A student will not be permitted to attend class if their clothing is out of compliance with the standardized dress policy.

Black pants, skirt or jumper with a white shirt (girls)
Black pants, skirt or jumper with a white shirt (girls)
Khaki pants with a white or black shirt (boys)
Khaki pants, skirt or jumper with a white or black shirt (girls)
Khaki pants, skirt or jumper with a white or black shirt (girls)
Any student dress that indicates an affiliation with a gang, group, or organization that is not school approved is forbidden. This may include colored articles of clothing, professional team sports wear, or distinctive lettering or script that signifies an unapproved group association as identified by the school administrator.
Body piercing jewelry is prohibited except for rings, studs and other traditional jewelry worn in the ear. Tongue rings/studs, eyebrow piercing and chin piercing are not permitted at any time while on the Anson Jones campus.
All other Northside Independent School District Dress Code policies will be enforced in addition to the above campus standards.

BOYS:
1. Black or Khaki cotton twill trousers. Denim fabric, jeans or athletic type sweats are not acceptable. Elephant legs, flared legs, bell bottoms, stripes of any kind or hip huggers are not acceptable. Cargo-style pants with several pockets are not acceptable. Pants with rivets - that appear to be jeans - are not acceptable. - No tom seams or hems. Shorts are not acceptable on secondary campuses.
2. Solid white or black Cotton Button Collared Polo Shirt (either short or long sleeved) without logos or emblems. No zippers allowed - shirts must have buttons. No T-shirts. Shirts must be long enough to completely tuck in. If the student wishes to wear a shirt under their polo shirt - the only colors permitted will be white under white shirts and black or white under black shirts. No logos or writing is allowed.
3. A black or brown belt is required if the trousers have belt loops. Belt length must be appropriate size, no more than 3" overlap. Suspenders are not allowed.

Any tight fitting pants (stretch pants), elephant legs, flared legs, bell bottoms, stripes of any kind or hip huggers are not acceptable. Cargo style pants with several pockets are not acceptable. Pants with rivets, that appear to be jeans, are not acceptable. No top seams or hems. Shorts or skorts are not acceptable on secondary campuses. Skirts and jumpers must be "A" line or have pleats and must be mid-thigh or longer (reach to the end of a student's finger tips with extended arms at side). Slits in the skirts may not be higher than mid-thigh (must not be above end of finger tips on students extended hands at side).

No T-shirts. Shirt must be long enough to completely tuck in. Undergarments under white shirts must also be white or skin tone.
