Orchestra

The Jordan orchestra program is taught by Ms. Adrian Holmes. The Jordan orchestras are actively involved in serving our school, community, and city. All orchestra students perform in a minimum of four concerts throughout the year. We offer class instruction on violin, viola, cello, and string bass for the following levels: Beginners (no experience required), Intermediate (1-2 years experience), Advanced (2+ years experience). All students are responsible for providing their own instrument. Jordan orchestra students have a full schedule of performances and competitions. Their fall schedule is highlighted by Region Orchestra and a performance in the community during the holiday season. Their spring schedule finds them performing for Elective Night and the PTA Dinner and competing in the UIL Contest and Solo and Ensemble Contest.
