WELCOME TO  OUR
G/T  WEB  PAGE

PROMISE/PEP:
This year we will be paying tribute to the 20th Century with our overreaching theme of "CHANGE".  Students will take part in an epic journey through the last one hundred years.  We will turn back the clock to a time of unique change and the highlighted moments that made a special mark in the 20th Century.

What events CHANGED the shape of the 20th Century?
What CHANGE captured the spirit of the decade?

These are essential questions from the past as students become researchers, reporters, and producers bringing to life discoveries, inventions, and explorations of the significant moments that transformed the most eventful one hundred years in human history.

Additionally, our Scholarly Behaviors and the elements of Depth and Complexity will direct us on how possibilities and limitations of the CHANGE featured in the 20th Century opened the door to the future.

As always, our unit of study will tie closely with the Northside ISD Strategic Plan and the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS).

About the Teacher

My name is Delfy González and I feel very privileged to be working with such a fine staff and awesome group of children here at Knowlton Elementary.  I truly love coming to work each day!
I come to Knowlton with 17 years of teaching experience, the last 13 of which have been with Northside ISD.  I am a Bilingual and G/T certified teacher, which allows me to service both our English and Spanish speaking students.
My husband and I have two teenagers at home a son and a daughter. They are our pride and joy! We enjoy watching movies, camping, reading and playing together.  Both of our children are musicians who play with the music ministry at our church youth group which my  husband leads. Our family also includes 1 dog and 1 cat (who is totally convinced that he is the king of the house!).
