Welcome to

Music Class

My name is Mrs. McDaniel

and I am the Music class teacher here at Knowlton once again this year!

I am blessed because I get to come in contact with ALL the students enrolled

in Kindergarten through 5th grade.

 Your child will come to my music class

once every 6th school day based on a

six day rotating schedule.

Music is a fun class, but of course I am expected to teach basic music skills and

appreciation through moving, singing, and playing music.

Eventually student are able

to read and write in musical notation

and learn the art of improvisation!

 Since I will only see your child about 7 times every grading period is

very important to me that behavior is

acceptable for the best participation

Your child will keep a signed record in Music class

if their behavior or participation becomes an issue. 

There is a conduct and participation grade for music every nine weeks.

 

(or every  6-7  music classes)
