Ben's Guide to the U. S. Government- Excellent site for students, parents, and teachers. Easy to understand. Divided into grade levels K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12.

Big 6 Research Method - This site helps visitors walk through the basic steps of successful research.

Citing Sources - Writing a Bibliography- Easy to use examples on how to cite resources. Includes examples from journals, books, newspapers, government documents, web sites, and more.

Internet Public Library- Provides library services to Internet users, such as reference books, magazines, newspapers, and more.

Roget's Thesaurus - Need to find exactly the right word?

Texas Almanac- Information about history, culture, politics, climate, and geography of the State of Texas.

Webster's Dictionary- Alphabetical listing of words, spellings, and meanings online.

Word Central - Includes a student dictionary, a daily "buzz-word", and more.
