Planet Earth is suffering from a break down of elements. This breakdown was caused by a hostile take over of our nearby planet Mars. Mars has mixed up the element symbols which caused this breakdown. Your first mission is to find the correct symbols of each element to stop the decaying of the Earth's surface.

Once you have found all the symbols for the elements, your next mission is the write a letter, create a brochure, create a poster or PowerPoint presentation letting the President of Mars know about one of the chemicals and what role it plays for plant Earth.

Make sure you include the following information in your project:
- Name of element
- Element number
- Number of protons, neutrons and electrons
- Person who discovered it
- Discription of element
- Where we can find it
- Why it is important
You have been giving some resources to use below in order to complete this mission. Once it is completed, please give the completed missions to your commander in chief (Your Teacher). He/She will let you know if you have successfully saved the Earth's surface from total distruction.
