Ms. Griffin-2nd Grade
Piecing Together the World of Autism

The need to educate the students about autism will inevitably need to
be addressed at a campus level within the classroom. The grant will
provide classroom teachers and specialists with the resources they need
to help students have a better understanding and acceptance of this disorder.

Every child is different in unique ways. The goal of this grant is to get
children to understand why some children with autism act differently. This
can be challenging especially at the elementary level. Children will gain
the understanding and acceptance of children with autism through fun,
interactive stories and lessons.Teaching and explaining why and how students
with autism act different to others will help broaden the horizon of acceptance.
