My name is Marilyn Villarreal and I love to teach. I was born and raised in west Texas in San Angelo. I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a secondary degree in Sociology. During my twenty-seven years as a teacher, I have taught Pre-Kinder, Kindergarten, First, and Second grade.
I have been married to my husband, Rene, for thirty-two years and have one daughter, Crystal "Fiona", age 30. Additional members of our household are: 4 dogs( a border collie mix "Jazz" , a chihuahua "Noodle", a beagle/jack russell mix "Baxter", and a terrier"Hurley" ), 2 parakeets, 4 gerbils, 1 dwarf hamster, 7 hermit crabs, and a betta fish "Pearl".
Things I really enjoy doing are spending time with my family going to Canyon Lake and tubing on the Comal River, reading, painting, going to the movies, going to SouthPadre Island, Galveston Island, and eating Mexican food-especially chips and salsa at Chili's and enjoying the yummy pasta at Olive Garden.
I look forward to a fun-filled year of exciting learning experiences !
Welcome to Kindergarten !
