Tuesday
Write sentences or a paragraph using spelling words. Return assignment to school. At the beginning of school concentrate on writing expanded sentences. After the first 9 weeks, increase your writing to include paragraphs and stories. Use as many spelling words as possible.

Wednesday
Practice math facts using flashcards, computer games, clocks, money or teacher assigned materials. REMEMBER facts to 18 must be memorized. Example: 9+9=18 18-9=9

Thursday
Study spelling words for the test on FRIDAY. Make rhyming words with spelling words. Good luck!! Send notes for homework done such as flashcards, computer, etc.

Make up work for absences will be placed on your child's desk. It is due back to the teacher in a timely manner.
