In this task, you will watch a short video about Plate Tectonics and take a quiz on what you learn. Read all of the steps first, then go back and start the activity.

Go to this website by clicking on the link - BrainPop. Be VERY careful at this site. Do not click ANYTHING except exactly the links we tell you to click below. This site only lets you visit two of their pages and watch one video before it kicks you off for the day, so BE CAREFUL!

* If you have trouble viewing the movie, ask you teacher to help you open up Netscape Communicator and try visiting the BrainPop site again.

Once in BrainPop, click on the "Science Movies" section (BE CAREFUL). Let the next page load, then choose the "Plate Tectonics" link from the list of given movies (BE CAREFUL). Be sure you have the sound on and are wearing your headset.

Allow the Plate Tectonics video to load completely, then click on "Play the Movie". Remember, do not click on any other button until the "Play the Movie" button appears.

After viewing the video, click on the button called "Play the Quiz" and take the short quiz.

 

Move on to Task 3.
