Crib Warehouse Lead

Ernest has been with NISD since Oct. 1981. As a Crib Warehouse Lead, his responsibilities are monitoring  receiving packages for the entire Maintenance Dept., maintaining purchase orders on file and making sure all fire extinguishers throughout the District are serviced and inspected. His hobby is being a musician.

Mark Zamora
Crib Warehouse Lead

Mark joined Northside ISD in 2003. He worked previously for USAA Facilities Operation Supply.  Before that. he managed a furniture restoration shop and owned his own specialty construction business.

As a Crib Warehouse Lead, he is responsible for supplying Maintenance technicians with equipment, overseeing repairs for maintenance and custodial equipment and restocking consumable tool supplies.

George Andel  
Small Equipment Repair Technician

Istarted with Northside in Aug. of 1990 in Maintenance in the grass crew.  After a few months , I transfered to Clark High School as a custodian and after a short time at Clark , was promoted to Head Custodian at Northside Pre-K / Transportation North under Project 2061, in which I worked for 3 years.  I received my Tool Crib position as a Small Equipment Repair Technician in the fall of 1993 and have been here ever since.  My job requires hands on training, repairing custodial equipment and I have trained in a buffer repair class at Vaughns Vacuum.  I enjoy working in my department.

George Pena 
Small Equipment Repair Technician

I started in NISD Jan. 9, 2004 and worked as a grass crew member for 9 months. Then I was promoted to Assist. Leadman in Grounds and eventually became a Leadman.  I accepted a job as a Small Equipment Repair Technician on Nov. 29, 2007 repairing custodial equipment and have enjoyed working with the people in the Crib, plus issuing tools to the staff of other trades.  I'm a Certified Scuba Diver and am studying for my Dive Master Certification.

Warehouse Parts & Supplies

The following work in the Maintenance Warehouse (Parts & Supplies). They receive packages, label & restock, issue materials to the schools & the other shops, to inventory 3 times a week.

Eddie Garza
Crib Warehouse Assistant Lead

Eddie started in Maintenance in 1993.  He came from Cable Elem. as a 1 yr. custodian.  Prior to that he was an Assist. Store Manager at Woolworths Corporation.

Paul Lerma
Warehouse Helper

Paul started with Northside around 1986 in the Grounds Dept.  He comes with 18-19 yrs. at Swift & Company and other meat packing companies.  His prior experience before that was in the oil field and railroad company.
