AVID Snapshot

AVID is a program devoted to preparing determined high school students for college. AVID students participate in Honors, Advanced Placement and Dual Credit classes at Marshall. This rigorous schedule and coursework equips our students with the knowledge and skills to be successful in college. The AVID program also helps students prepare for the SAT & ACT, apply to colleges and universities, apply for scholarships, and fill out the FASFA forms. College preparation can be a long and confusing process, but with an early start and planning AVID students are prepared.

Our students are broken up into four classes: (click on class for description)

AVID 4: Seniors
AVID 3: Juniors
AVID 2: Sophomore
AVID 1: Freshmen
