The second 9 weeks is under way! It seems our cool weather is also finally arrived. I hope you and your families are synergizing! We had a fantastic Veterans Day celebration! I believe it is extremely important to take time out to recognize the sacrifice and service of so many in our lives. The students and staff, veterans and families had wonderful comments about the ceremony. I am very thankful to all who participated.
We love seeing your smiles every day! Attendance is vital to your child's success. Be at school every day! Every minute counts so it's important to be on time at 7:40 am. Be sure to send a written note to your child's teacher as soon as possible so the absence can be marked excused on the district attendance system.
This just in ...Rolling along Roadrunners! Students and staff are really Thinking with the End in Mind and are focused on their goal for success! I am really enjoying getting to know our students! They are kind, thoughtful and love coming to school! Everywhere I go, I am greeted with smiles and an exchange of "hello" and "have a good day!" Students will receive their progress reports on September 26th. Our next PTA meeting will be Tuesday, October 14th at 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria. Please be sure to become a PTA member!
It is important to park only in designated areas. The safest way to cross the front drive from the parking lot is to use the crosswalks. The door (Kinder, 1st, 2nd) on the side opposite of the office is locked at 7:45 am. At this time, visitors will use the main doors to enter the building. Policy requires visitors to sign in with office staff at 7:45 am. A staff member will be happy to escort your child to class. Finally, state law prohibits use of hand held mobile devices while driving on school property. Help us ensure every Roadrunner arrives at school safely!
