Hello Roadrunner Families! We have kicked off the third nine weeks period. The Spring semester is sure to go quickly as we prepare for many events. First, we have our Student Council preparing for "Kindness on our Campus" next month. Look for more information to come in the teachers' newsletters. We have Book Fair February 9th-13th. I am excited to experience my first Roadrunner Romp! This year's Romp is March 27th from 4:00-8:00 pm. Our PTA is planning diligently! VOLUNTEERS are a big part of making any school event a success. The Romp is no exception. Please contact Angela Grover via email email@example.com to help. There are many opportunities for you to share your skills with us! Mark your calendars for the following student holidays: Early Release is February 6th, dismissal at 11:45, President's Day, February 16th and Spring Break, March 9th - 13th. The second 9 weeks is under way! It seems our cool weather is also finally arrived. I hope you and your families are synergizing! We had a fantastic Veterans Day celebration! I believe it is extremely important to take time out to recognize the sacrifice and service of so many in our lives. The students and staff, veterans and families had wonderful comments about the ceremony. I am very thankful to all who participated.
We love seeing your smiles every day! Attendance is vital to your child's success. Be at school every day! Every minute counts so it's important to be on time at 7:40 am. Be sure to send a written note to your child's teacher as soon as possible so the absence can be marked excused on the district attendance system.
